Excellent lawyout, good ability to find signal even indoors, small size allows a lot of options.
Cons
Manual was not easy to work with on starting up. Automatically assumes you are aready functioning. Basic stuff on how long to charge battery, frequency of updates, how to toggle between screens took time to figure out. Did not know terrain feature required a upgrade or it blures out elevations changes.
General Comments
Excellent value, has a lot of more expensive features. Worth the small hassels working with it. Due to size probably needs to be very close to be able to read all of screen.

Pros
Good GPS for the price. Very compact and moves from your aircraft to auto without a problem. Lots of information packed into a this small device. The progressive taxi is very nice when you land.
Cons
It dose not come with an instruction book. When I opened the box the first thing I grabed was a paper that said log onto some website to update unit before use. When I tried that website it was no good. So since the GPS is a HP I went to the HP website. The HP website had several updates for the GPS. Here is the problem, when the updates were finised is removed the anywhere map program and all I had left was the automobile program. I contacted anywhere map via e-mail and they took me step by step to recover the program. I was they informed by anywhere maps that I needed to use their website to update the unit. As far as instructions on how to use the GPS, good luck. Anywhere maps has instructions in a PDF on their website just for their program. The automobile program comes with a quick start guide but the rest is up to you.

I bought an ATC - WOW - what an amazing device - I can't see how anyone would give it a bad review. I don't even mind the touch screen interface, I thought it worked very well...granted I haven't had it in rough weather. I've used the Garmin 396, 496, and 430 and although all of those are excellent GPS systems but the ATC does everything the 496 does at a fraction of the price. I can't tell you how happy I am with the purchase especially with the recent $100 rebate. I would highly recommend this GPS to anyone. I showed it to a commercial pilot buddy of mine who flies a Citation II and he was blow away, he said "This is everything you need" - in fact I think he might have already purchased one.
Anyway just thought I would share my experience - great product

Pros
Small yet big enough for GPS Needs. Cheapest small GPS unit I could find. Easy to see in the middle of the day with a lot of sun shining in the cockpit. I like the scroll wheel feature on the site (If it only operated about 5 sec faster on the screen). Aviation and Road maps is a cool combo, but I already have a Garmin for Road GPS for the truck. They give you the original HP Street Smart Software in case you get fed up with the Anywhere Map software and want to reformat it and keep the HP unit for other things. Easy to update with your Computer! I like it has a few extra features, tells you when to switch tanks, if you COULD be in a tail spin (told me I was a few times when I knew I was not).
Cons
Free Bag is not big enough to hold GPS, Charger and Yoke Mount. 100LL.com is free anyways: if you go to the site you can search up your airport and get GAS Listing. (is cool how it integrates into the Anywhere Map) The Anywhere GPS unit is TERRIBLY TERRIBLY SLOWWWWW. I'm a Network Engineer and would have expected it to be a little faster than what it is. A good 5-10 pause in between functions and screens even with it having the latest updates. Battery life is short. In a C152 you have to keep your flights short if you expect to have the GPS running on the whole trip. Batter lasts 2-2.5 hours in real life. Few minor glitches while flying - Told me I was in a tail spin a few times.
General Comments
Good GPS. Need to shave a few hundred dollars to be a better reasonable price for what you get. I think you can only get updates for a year for the Anywhere GPS. I believe in free updates so long as you own it. :-( Overall I rate it a 6 out of 10. Not crazy about it but I will keep it. Compared to ratings on Bendix, the Anywhere is supposedly rated better. I'd hate to see how crapper the Bendix is. Or if it is at all and 50 reviews are completely wrong. I know we can do better on the small GPS Market and I am a little disappointed. Guess I'll have to choose the better of the worse. Got questions? Feel free to email DizyDiz@gmail.com.

I bought this thinking I might upgrade to the pocket plates if I liked it, but for me I think they would be to hard to read, I am however so impressed with the GPS and features that I am going to upgrade to XM weather.
This is a powerful little tool and mine works great.

Pros
Great GPS, especially for the price!
- Screen is very clear, quite bright, and easily viewable on a sunny day (this was one of my original concerns).
- Well refined aviation/navigation features have been very easy to use with minimal learning curve.
- Street & Multimedia features are very nice too (was able to keep the kiddo entertained in the car)
- Updating unit is a breeze via Anywhere Update Center application.
Cons
Anywhere Map application is very slow to respond to any user input (you can even witness some of this "latency" in the Sport's product demo video). If you are an impatient person, this might not be the GPS for you. Expect a 1 to 5 second delay for most menus, features, page flips, etc. (As and example just slightly zooming or scrolling the map can take several seconds). This is somewhat disappointing, but the unit is still very usable.
Also, the moving map only updates about once a second, but this does seem to be adequate for general aviation, especially ASEL.
General Comments
Despite the slow response time, I am very satisfied with my purchase and elated with the features!

Great capability and options.Good size and very good quality. All accessories are included. The price was great too. Easy to download updates from Internet. Definitely it is an excellent value.
Cons
To learn on how to use it is easy but is a “trial and error method”. The instruction manual is not clear and the assistance from HP is not good. Batteries don't last a long time. The speaker is very hard to hear. Data for Puerto Rico is no included ( ATC, ATIS, Airport or airspace information is not available)
General Comments
Overall great value for the money (if it is used in the States). Definitely, I recommend this product.

Followed instructions for charging 4/6 hours. It worked for about 20 minutes then shut down. Called HP customer Service and was told "this unit had been out of warranty for a year." Called Sporty's to return it and there was no apology or show of interest or concern by the lady who took my call. I could have been sold a replacement with a better customer service rep attitude.

The screen is a little small but by no means to small to see. Very predictable features and perfectly portable. So portable in fact that Velcro is my mount in the plane, car and motorcycle. The charging system is well though out. The weight is good for pocket use. I am glad I made this choice. The price was great too.
Cons
The supplied mountings suck. Use Velcro.

General Comments
This unit is a good starter GPS unit. No instructions, so it's a trial-n-error method of learning, but for the most part pretty straight forward. Pocket Plates software is a nice touch and I like how they superimpose your position right on the charts.
