It is lightweight and fairly comfortable. Product service support is good, but the bad news is you will need the service.
Cons
Not a very robust design. For occassional use is fine, but not for daily use as a professional pilot. The cord is very long and the speakers are prone to dropping out.
General Comments
OK for the weekend warrior, not sturdy enough for an airline flight deck.

I've been using my first Lightspeed Mach 1 since December of 2005. I have helped four other people make the choice to buy them since! I love this headset. As a flight instructor and corporate pilot I fly up to 10 hours in a day at times. It never seems heavy, for the most part I forget I have it one. Daily use for over two years!
Cons
The early models had a problem with the mic, but it has been replaced with a new generation and problem solved. So I guess the con became a pro in this case.
General Comments
The guys and gals at Lightspeed are fantastic to deal with, if you ever have a problem with their product it only takes one phone call or email to get it taken care of and product warranty happens fast if you ever have to send it to them for work.
I highly recommend the Mach 1. I was very skeptical about it being quiet enough in a light training aircraft but it is still quieter than the Bose my boss wears!

This headset is so light that you forget that it is even there. The sound quality is so much better than my David Clarks that I used before. Very comfortable.

I fly 6-8 hours a day as a flight instructor in Arizona and with the heat there is no hot sweaty rings around your ears. I like it so much more than my x-11 head set.

Product has great sound quality and multiple options for ITE comfort. The custom ear mold option is by far the most comfortable and allows the removal of the over the ear clip increasing the comfort level further.
The unit is lightweight and comes with a nice carrying case that fits nicely in your flight bag.
Cons
The belt clip broke within a few days of use, but a new one was received from Lightspeed to make the repair within a few days.
General Comments
Product support from Lightspeed was excellent and the earmolds made by Sensaphonics are first class. After using for several hours, you will not want to put a traditional headset over your ears again.
