Pros
Heavy duty construction and very nice quality. Has a solid feel to it.
Cons
Too little storage space. The fold down pouch in the front could have been more spacious like in other headset cases. It is just a thin flap that holds only a few thin cards or a pen. Very minimal storage overall from what I expected. The pouches on the sides are nice. The minimal use poorly designed front pocket is my BIG complaint.
General Comments
It works for a headset and a few other items like sunglasses, calculator etc. Rather too heavy duty for just a headset. Its large weight is just not needed for what it is protecting.

Pros
This bag is awesome! Exceeded my expectations. As a CFI I like to carry essentials with me and this bag holds it all. The durable padded middle pocket holds my Zulu headset perfectly as well as an inside pocket for sunglasses case. The side GPS pocket I use to hold wallet and passport and the transceiver pocket holds my Vertex Nav/Com with antenna. The front zipper flap holds flashlight, fuel tester, pens and has a hook to hold key chains. The back pockets hold essential en-route charts and approach plates. The whole line of Sporty's Flight Gear is very durable and hold up very well for everyday use. I love this bag and for the price you can't beat it.

* Heavy denier fabric holds up to abuse.
*Lots of compartments for storing gear.
*Zippered flap conceals additional pockets and mesh compartment.

Cons
I didn't buy this bag 3 years ago.
General Comments
I've been flying for over 20 years and started out not knowing what to carry. Then my flight bags got bigger and bigger until I realized what's important and now I'm back to a smaller bag.

Great size, holds everything you need for short, daily flights. I had bought a bigger bag and then ordered this one, great decision. As a student I'm flying several times a day, but don't need a ton of charts, FTD, ect. This is the prefect size for your headset and a few other items you carry on short daily flights.
Cons
none.

Pros
Excellent size for my mission. Just the right amount of pockets. Looks good. When fully packed, reminds me of helmet bags flyboys use. Doesn't make you look like "overkill" when walking around FBO or flight school especially when you're just working the pattern. 4 for durability because I hadn't used it that long and it's not exactly as though as leather. This is now my favorite bag and I have a couple.
Cons
Maybe a shoulder strap - not sure it would look right but it crossed my mind when I had a few things in my hands at the dispatch counter.
General Comments
Highty recommend. It's the perfect bag. I don't think the senior pilot caddy will work because it's just a "basket". Get this. There's a reason they had to rename this from the CFI bag to the Headset bag. EVERYBODY likes this!!!

Pros
Everything that I need for a simple cross country flight fits, here. Easy to find what you need in the dark. Fits in my regular flight bag. Simple design means that you carry what you need and you can find it when you need it.
Cons
The only thing I'd change on this is the front zipper/down pocket. I'd like it be gussetted at the bottom a little more to carry an extra manual.
General Comments
Here's what I can fit in this thing: Headset, iComm radio with headset adapter, flashlight, Palm Pilot, 4 AA batteries, sunglasses, E6B (no longer on my kneeboard), IFR training glasses, small GPS, A/FD, Aircrew Checklist Binder(with airport diagrams and checklists), fuel tester, 2 sharpie markers, 1 pencil and my AOAP card in the vinyl slot. I can't think of anything else I'd need. Best part is that I don't forget anything and when I walk back to the FBO I don't feel like I'm carrying my carry-on bag. Probably the best Sporty's product I've seen or used.

Pros
Overall the bag is nice. I would like it to be a little bigger in size, but it fits my headset well and other basic necessities. The compact size does make flying in a small airplane much easier. I currently own the VFR bag as well and have not been real pleased with the overall durability of the bag after one year of use so I am concerned this bag might start having the same problems. However, for the price and ease of use I would recommend this bag for any pilot wanting something more compact. This bag does have lots of pockets and I especially like the spare transceiver pocket.

General Comments
Boy, this is just what I've been looking for. I used to take 5 or 6 things out to the plane - headset bag, GPS, keys, glasses, charts & pens, etc - but I didn't want to lug a big flight bag. This carries everything I need in the space of a headset bag.
