I recently took a 20 mile hike through NC and brought the "Ultimate Bush Pilot Tools" along with me. I normally however will keep it in the plane in case of a bailout.
The tools performed extremely well. It was very rainy and I was very happy to have the griping system that the tools have with me. As soon as I got to the campsite I would strap it on my side and get to work. I was very happy to have it by me due to a last minute structure than needed to be constructed.
Naturally I did not hike with the tools on for they are too heavy, however I will say they were always at the top of my pack incase I needed them.
