The books are comprehensive & the print editions are a must have. These are available on the FAA website, but the read is much better in bound version.

This book combo consists of two instrument flying books. It provides plenty of color diagrams and facilitates learning by explaining the physics of how all you flight systems work, giving you insight to how that AI, HSI, VSI, DG, etc actually works, and what things can make them deviate or fail.
The layout of material is very logical and smooth.
Cons
Contains a few typos.
I found a few errors in explanations, but these are minor.

These are available on the FAA website, but as down loads they are hundreds of pages and hard to handle. The bound
versions are worth the investment as they will get a lot use and be a staple of your aviation library.
