They are very good for orgonizing any papers, charts, approach plates, or anything you want to keep for a while. Cons These protecters are not the same as the Jeppesen chart protectors. They load from the side which isn't necessarily a con because it makes them easier to put papers in and out, but because it loads from the side it is skinnier than normal. Because of this you either have to punch holes in your charts or cut them skinnier. General Comments Overall they are good. They are really cheap so buy more than you need. It is really nice to have an organized kneeboard now.

Overall Rating Durability Reliablity Value Usability Expectations	Pros Obviously to protect frequently used charts/plates. The price was the best advantage, so far. Cons The binder ring holes still (most) had the inner portion remaining making it difficult, at best, to place them into a binder readily. User must use a pointed device, such as a small knife blade or an awl and punch through and remove the fragment. Charts (Jeppesen) are very thin and flimsy making it difficult to insert them into the plastic protector with ease. It takes some maneuvering and patience - not something rapidly accomplished. General Comments Overall, not a bad deal considering the price. Thankfully I did not have to do more than 50 plates and did have time to do it.

I don't use Jeppesen binders, but the side entry makes it very easy to slide charts, flt plans, etc., into the sleeve. Cons The punched binder holes are not separated from the sleeve. This is a real negative as they hang up on each other, and, when they do separate they make a mess. General Comments

General Comments Generally Char protectors are chart protects. However I noticed two annoyances with these in particular. I ordered a set of 50 and even though the holes were punched out the little plastic piece that was punched out was still in the whole and had to be removed manually on each. Also these charts are closed on 3 of 4 sides so they do not work well with the fold out charts such as airport diagrams, arrivals and departures. I fixed this by simply cutting off a very thin strip off of the long closed side and then putting my hand through it to open the side up. Works just fine. The price can't be beat.
