Can be written on for marking check points and placing distance between points. Cons As stated on other reviews, tape does not stick well where chart folds. An easy fix which I found was to cut the tape on the folds and continue it after. General Comments Great product for maintaining the chart in good conditions. The only con stated above is workeable.

I ordered all four and use multiple colors for differnt routes. I use a pencil to trace my planned route right on the tape and then remove it when I am done and that gives me a clean chart to use again. Cons None General Comments

Can mark on top of tape with black ink SMALL notes such as expected headings to or from a point. Easy to remove, so you are not making a mess out of your maps. Cons Tape will rarely pull off of the edges where the map is folded after taped. Sometimes harder to make a perfect point to point line than a ruler and marker. Minimal issues concidering the benefit of this system. General Comments I love these and will buy again.

Looking for a pencil line to check your course and waypoints is a little on the tedious side sometimes. I recently started covering my routes with highlighter tape from Sportys and it has been a tremendous help in keeping up with the pace. You can clearly see through the tape to view altitudes and sectional information while at the same time having a highlighted route allows you to spend far less time looking things over, which is time we all need to be spending scanning for traffic. I generally cut it in half lengthwise. Some low altitude enroute charts are quite complex (I fly in the LA class B airspace) and narrow strips help to define the route. General Comments
