Seems a little flimsy, though since I've only used it a few times so far, it's too early to pass judgement.
General Comments
Very handy. I strap my kneeboard to my right leg and this to my left. It's ideal for holding my checklist, or an en-route chart. Keeps me from dropping stuff on the floor now that my trument training has increased the number of things to juggle in the cockpit.

Exactly as expected. 3rd hand says it all. I use it to compliment my kneeboard, so I have a place to stash checklists and charts.
Cons
Seems a little wimpy, but so far, has held up well after 6 uses.

It comes with a rubber band that you strap around your leg. However, it is way too small and by the time you are done flying, you might have lost your leg!

Pros
Simple, easy to use. Slip charts/checklist in and out with just one hand.
Cons
Edges are a little sharp; could be smoother to prevent leaving marks on paper. Could use a better/bigger fastening hook clip.
General Comments
I use this on my left leg to hold mostly my checklist, since the checklist I have is long and won't fit on a regular kneeboard. I use a kneeboard on my right leg for a notepad/navplan. The chart holder is good if you don't need to write anything on it and don't want to use 2 hands. Most kneeboards you need one hand to hold the clip and another to grab the chart from it or place it in. It does what it's meant to do.

I've had this little gadget for 2 years now, works great in a Diamond Star when strapped to the left leg. VFR/IFR kneeboard goes on the right. Only time it doesn't work is when I forget to strap it on.

Simple but effective. I position it on the left side of my left leg and use it as a chart and check list holder. I still use a knee board on the right leg but the 3rd hand eliminates the need to sandwich charts and check lists under your leg.
