General Comments Way over priced. I only bought it because I don't want any more scratches to my 496. My real overal rating is a 3.5, really due to the price. I would be more inclined to recommend this product if it were priced between $10-$12, but how much is the screen protection worth? One of those Gotchas!

Was very easy to apply, and you don't have to get it perfect on the first try, as it's easy to lift back up and re-align if you're not happy the first time. Cons I thought it could have been fractionally larger, but certainly big enough to cover all but the very edges of the screen. General Comments I would definitely recommend this as an effective way of keeping a very expensive device scratch-free. I have always been ultra-careful with my 496, but quickly accumulated some tiny, almost invisible scratches. I decided to buy this to preempt the accumulation of enough of them that they would become noticeable.

It was easy to work with a pair of scissors and I would rather srcatch the protector and replace it than scratch the screen. It's a no brainer on which is cheaper or easier to replace. You get a plastic squeegee in the kit, to remove any bubbles when you apply the film to the screen, it works great. The film also removes easily from the screen when needed, without leaving any residue, and can be re-applied again and again, once you take care not to touch the contact side.
