Very sturdy. Suction cup works great on the windscreen. Minimal vibration.

Wish the arm was just a tad longer. Also, either RAM or Garmin needs to make a quick release mounting option. You can leave the suction cup and arm attached to the windscreen, however you need to use hardware (screws) to attach the mount. I purchased a Pelican case to store my 696 and left enough room to leave the mount installed. A quick release would be great.

Purchased this a few weeks ago for use in a Cessna 182Q. Mounted my 696 on it for a 3 hour flight and it performed flawlessly. There was enough room for it to be mounted next to the compass and allow us to look outside for traffic.
