Easy slip on installation, perfect fit, the leatherette seems a bit thicker and more durable than the originals.
Cons
These replacements seem to have slightly firmer padding than the factory originals, but they're still new, maybe they'll get 'broken in' as they wear. Not really any less comfortable but you can notice a slight difference in softness vs originals.
General Comments
My original cushions lasted 4+ years before they began to frey to the point of replacement. These seem to be at least as well made as the originals if not a bit more so.

It appears that Telex has improved the Airman 850 ear pads. If your old ones are starting to come apart these replacements are the way to go. I got my headsets in 2003, and found the replacement ear pads better than the originals.
Cons
I do believe they might be over priced.

The photo is not what you will receive, These are high quality leatherette ear cushions similar, if not better, than the original ear cushions for the airman 850.
