Microphone construction seems a bit flimsy but not a problem yet, and if it is I am sure Boes product support will be able to help me (from experiences with other Boes products in the past).

The ANG is amazing and the comfort level is better than I expected. Every transmission is crystal clear and mic is sensitive enough to pick up my low and quiet voice no problem but doesn't pick up any of the ambient noise.
Cons
No problems so far besides the large dent still left in my pocket.

As long as you can afford this headset it is the way to go. This is my first headset but I'm glad I spent the extra money and went all out for the Bose.

General Comments
This is by far the most comfortable headset I've ever owned. I'm a USAF C-130 mechanic, and we receive David Clark headsets, which are good but not very comfortable after a few hours of wear. The Bose is light, it doesn't compress your head as much, and the noise cancellation is like instantly stepping in to a sound- proof chamber. It is sleek and low profile, not like other bulky headsets. Best headset, hands down!

I was very bad in communication and it was a big issue during my instrument rating lessons.
I should say that I'm French speaking.
After moving to the Bose headset X, I understand what was part of my communication problem...
The headset...
I did not hear the controller very well so I did not understand very well what he was saying.
Now, the difference is unbelievable and I will do my check ride soon.
