Pros
it's a nice copy of what was the u.s. army anj-3 jacket, however, it is not acceptable since the anj-3 jacket was only made by u.s. manufacturers, and having a u.s. military specification name on the jacket implies, in fact directly states that it would be made by a u.s. company as all military specification u.s. apparel are...i never would have ordered this had i known it was not made in the u.s., but this is in the 'pro' section because i must admit it was a nicely made piece
Cons
as stated above, selling a jacket with a u.s. military designation number, where part of that designation is that a u.s. manufacturer is the producer of the jacket, makes this jacket a lie and fraudulent...your ad link to purchase did not mention this was not u.s. made, and while your 'additional information' link stated 'imported', that would be expected to mean imported leather...selling a jacket as an 'anj-3', or an 'a-2' means the jacket follows u.s. specifications, which for these jackets means being made by u.s. contractors...as a pilot supply house you of all people should know this...if you must sell these jackets and have them made in pakistan, or wherever, you legally should state 'anj-3 style' or 'anj-3-type' jacket, which let's you off the hook in having the jacket not made by a u.s. contractor, which is a major aspect of a u.s. military designation jacket
General Comments
really, as a u.s. citizen, and military enthusiast/collector, i'm disgusted that items made in foreign countries are passed off with official u.s. designations...i have a sporty's a-2 horsehide jacket made in the u.s., one of your older jackets...it's among my favorite items i own...it's disgusting that a manufacturer such as yourself, serving the american public and community, and very much so the military and ex-military community, would be offering items claiming to be something they are not...put the word 'style' or 'type' after the military designation so that if you are fooling people, at least you are using your legal loophole...as for me, i'd rather pay the few dollars more to have you build these jackets in the u.s., then have others overseas produce the to save a few dollars...and in the case of pakistan, this is not really an ally, but a harborer of those we are actually fighting in afghanistan...please be assured i have returned the jacket, made this point to your telephone agents, and spread the word among the military wear and pilot communities online...i truly am aghast at this

I recommend it to family and friends as an excellent gift and a very good value for $200
