This kneeboard is excellent. The design is just great. There are two pen holders, great for when you drop one, another one is available. Both sides have zippered pockets which are large enough to put charts in. The clear cover on the right side is perfect for having a charted opened up to the page you want, particularly if you fly in a local area all the time. The right flap has two small mesh pockets which are great for failed instrument covers, extra batteries, or other odds and ends. The two straps that are designed to hold a full sized E6B. Load this knee board up with everything you need for a local area flight, and you don't even need to bring that heavy flight bag.

The metal board has IFR information printed on it. I found the Sportys IFR metal kneeboard to have more readable and useful information.

Would like the clip to be able to hold thicker items better. Had to split my 50 sheet note pad to 25 sheets because it was too thick and slid out. Needs to be a little longer in the part that is on the note pad and maybe a little stronger over all.
