This is the accessory I was missing to better organize my cockpit. Cons IFR Placard is not always well glued and the corners tend to curl although this is not a big deal. General Comments This is one of my best buys at Sportys.

Overall Rating Durability Reliablity Value Usability Expectations	Pros (1) Writing space was ample; (2) The positioning of the "clamps" is good. (3) Light Cons (1) Ability to "grip" to a lap needs improvement General Comments I bought this for a student pilot and out of 2 flights I had with him (I'm his CFII), one (1) was ok and (1) was not. Problem was that it kept sliding down his lap. In fairness, we were dealing with a Head-set issue that required him to keep manuevering or "playing" with the head-set recepticals and in bending over, the flight desk kept sliding. Our 2nd flight was better. I plan to try 1 or 2 more flight and if not acceptable, I'll return it. Problem is that the student pilot doesn't like any straps wrapped around his leg or else I would have purchased one of those styles. As of now, I would not recommend this product.

Overall Rating Durability Reliablity Value Usability Expectations	Pros I was a little skeptical that the desk would stay securely in my lap without a strap, but the rubber pads grip my jeans really well. I haven't tried it with shorts yet, but I bet it will be the same. It hasn't slipped yet! The clips are strong and there's ample room for charts, flight log, and paper for quick notes. Cons The desk folds with the clips out, meaning that plates, charts, and papers are on the outside when it's being transported or stored. You have to be a little careful when putting it in or removing it from the flight bag so that papers don't slip out. I wasn't expecting this and would prefer it folding the other way. I certainly do plan on still using it, as its pros outweigh its cons. General Comments Overall a good product and definitely worth buying, but not quite perfect.

Cons I am of larger build and found the single tablet strapped to my leg easier to use. I fly with a smaller person and he likes having the wider 2 sides to clip notes on the right and charts on the left side. It works very well for him. General Comments The icing-on-the-cake would be to be able to switch right and left sides of the flight desk. I am left handed and would appreciate the top clip on the left side and the side clip on the right side.
