Very well built product.
Cons
None that I can think of.
General Comments
Have not used a knee board in a very long time. Flew with the one I purchased
from Sporty's IFR the other day and it is nice to have organizer for the enroute charts, copying clearances and approach plate.
Highly recommend this product.

Pros
Nice, heavy gauge aluminum board with strong spring clamp. Elastic strap is velcro adjustable, sturdy and long enough for any pilot.
Cons
Pen/pencil holder does not firmly hold a standard No. 2 pencil that well. However, you could bend in the prongs for a better fit. Minor issue.

Pros
Easy to read. Good value. Good size. Comfortable leg strap.
Cons
Don't like the pen/pencil clip at the top. It bends too easily(it was already bent when I received the board), and if there's no pen in it you can scrape or cut yourself on it. I don't expect the foam that's glued under the board to hold up very long, but we'll see.

Pros
Cheap, easy, good info on the placard, clip holds notepads of many various sizes.
Cons
Pen clip has sharp edges, during a quick grab for the throttle I almost slit my wrist on the thing. But I put some tape over that part and it's fine now.

Pros
Aluminum construction seems very sturdy. Great writing surface in the cockpit. Clip will hold loose approach plates or several charts with ease. Handy VFR/IFR placard on kneeboard. Pen clip (pro and con). Comfortable to use.
Cons
The only two elements of this product that kept me from awarding straight 5's were the elastic strap and the pen clip. The strap seems like it will have a fairly short life. It does stretch out quite a bit when you secure it to your thigh (and I consider myself reasonably fit 5' 11
General Comments
Overall, I am completely satisfied with this product. It is very well built (save for two exceptions) and performs exactly as promised. A new IFR pilot, this kneeboard is an invaluable tool to have in the cockpit. It should be an essential item in the cockpit.

the elastic strap wears quickly. Maybe could be replaced with a nylon strap/fastener?
The pen holder clip does not maintain its shape and constantly loosens up, causing the pen to fall out.
