Pros
Ability to do 2 timers and have a clock is awesome, plus having countdown is nice.
Cons
It takes 5 seconds of holding most of the buttons to make be able to set a time in there, or reset the timer to zero and begin counting up again. During hold practice, or during my sim patterns that I practice for a NIFA ground trainer event, the time it takes to restart the timer is a little to long for my personal taste. Also, when you replace batteries you have to reset the clock.
General Comments
One day my friends who were flying a cross country needed this, and it randomly would not start even with several attempts of putting in new batteries. Then randomly several hours later it turned on and has worked since.
Also the piece that holds the clip on randomly fell off on the ramp, and I could not find it because it's gray and so is the ramp, so now there's no clip. I would have liked a protect a little more durable then this for what I paid plus shipping. But if you're not going to be needing it for as much stuff as I needed, then it should be a fine timer for most people.

As an aspiring Instrument Pilot, this timer is priceless! The two timer's are easily set to count up or down, and when they're done counting down they start an elapse timer! Plus, you have Zulu Time at the touch of a button!

Timer works great, can switch from Regular, 24hr, or zulu just by pushing a button. Very easy to read.
Cons
I wish it was just a little smaller so I could fasten it to my clip board easier, but the size didn't stop me from doing that anyway.
General Comments
Good product, recommend to anyone.

Very easy to use. flashing red lights are great because you usually don't hear the beeping alarm.
Cons
Digital clock lights fade out very easy with the sun and makes it extremely difficult to read. Count down timer feature doesn't reset and have to reset every time. A cheap digital kitchen timer doesn't fade out and timer can reset and they have a 3rd timer option if needed also.
General Comments
Had problems reading digital clock in curtain light conditions during flight and wasted time with my head down in the cockpit resetting the timer. Ended up going back to my digital kitchen timer. Flashing red lights are great and extremely easy to use. They're easy fixes I think and hope Sporty's comes out with a new and improved clock soon.

Pros
Robust, easy to clip to things and a very large screen. Has UTC clock.
Cons
I didn't check, nor did I realize but there is no split time function! There are two timers but neither can do a split time. The start/stop button is small and fiddly and, the LCD screen can't be read at large angles though it is very large and easy to see at normal angles.
General Comments
If you're looking for a large timer for start to finish timing, this thing is great but if you want to be able to do split times or quickly and easily reset the timer for your next leg, this isn't the timer you want.

It's a good timer for the money. The large buttons are easy to push even when the ride gets rough. I also like the 12, 24 and zulu time clocks. Easy to read display.
Cons
If you're using the countdown feature the pre-programmed times do not reset. So it isn't very practical to use it in countdown if you're practicing approaches and timing procedure turns or inbound outbound times. The count up works fine for this, there's just no alarm when the time's up.

Cons
Difficult to setup count down timer in flight. It takes quite a time to setup the countdown timer in flight, which makes it difficult to use.
General Comments
I use it to time my legs on XC flights. It works, but it would be nice, if you could stop the timer at one checkpoint and with the same click start the second timer for the time to the next checkpoint. Alternatively, the timer could store the current elapsed time and go on counting in the background.

Pros
Excellent timer! It's very easy to use and the large display makes for a lighter workload in the cockpit. The countdown timer/alarm feature is great for leg timing on longer flights when you really can't afford to be off by much. The alarm is very audible inside a 182M, but I can't speak to other planes as 182's generally have quieter cockpits. The LED alert feature and the backlight work great for night flights in the wide expanses of west Texas.
Cons
There needs to be a slightly more convenient way to mount this timer in the cockpit, but otherwise it's great.
General Comments
Whether it's VFR or IFR flight, this timer is a cockpit essential. Easier to read at a glance than a watch, great backlight and LED alert features! I keep the clock set to Zulu time and it seems to be very accurate. Having multiple timers and large buttons makes for an easy experience.
