The actual cup holder portion is not a good size. A standard bottle of water can't take the foam insulator, and without it the bottle falls out of the holder. Also in my 182 there isn't a real good place to put it for the pilot. Where it is pictured in the catalog it gets in the way of the yoke, master, and ignition switch. I'm still trying to find a way to use it.
