Durability is the key here. I have seen a lot of people pull out an E6B that is essentially paper and it always ends up the same way: faded writing, bent computer, bad calculations. I feel confident that this computer would stop a bullet for me, should the need arise.

I like the size. It's easy to handle and to read in the cockpit.

It seems like the dials don't spin as well as they used to. It almost feels like its built slightly cheaper. I haven't had it long, and the numbers lining the dial are already slightly faded.

I had an older ASA E6-B. It was reliable and well built. Built in the USA that is. I don't like the fact that the product was outsourced to another country. I'm an American, and I would rather buy an American Made product.
