Leather IFR Flight Gear Bag
You asked—we listened. You said you wanted a smaller, easier-to-handle bag for aircraft owners or short flights. The result is the IFR Flight Gear Bag, particularly well suited to leather. About the size of a small briefcase, it organizes the essentials, but won’t take up too much valuable cockpit space.

THIS WAS A GIFT I GAVE TO MY SON FOR CHRISTMAS AS HE HAS BEEN TAKING FLYING LESSONS, SO HE HAS NOT REALLY HAD OCCASION TO USE THE BAG YET, BUT I WOULD SAY IT IT A GORGEOUS BAG AND SEEMS TO BE VERY DURABLE. ASK US IN SIX MONTHS. AT FIRST GLANCE HE SEEMED TO BE THRILLED WITH IT. THANKS

Looks nice and rich. Size is great as compared with an earlier VFR bag I bought.
Cons
I wouldn't buy leather again. It smells strong and with rain gets worse when wet. We get a lot of rain in Hawaii. I have the same bag in nylon. It's a much better bargain. I don't think leather is a good idea for a heavy use bag.
