Good back up to a 'regular' plotter in the cockpit. Makes plotting your primary and alternate courses very easy.
Cons
Guage, numbers and print are a little small which might make it a little hard to use in the cockpit, but it's size is better suited in the cockpit than other plotters. Still use my 'Super Plotter' for most of my flight planning.

Wish that this product was available for military MGRS/WGS84 scaled maps (10k, 250k)as it would greatly help in both air and land navigation.

When it comes to diversions this plotter is invaluable. In a 182 you don't have a lot of time to screw around while you figure out a plan.

They need a miniature version of this plotter to make it easier to work in flight.

The first plotter I received was blemished and badly cut. Not Sporty's fault. They replaced immediately. The plotter performs as advertised, making it unnecessary to find long' or lat' lines.
Cons
Plotter rotation is very difficult/stiff, invariably moving the course line as you try to align with true north.

It works as expected. Many students believe this type of plotter is a panacea for XC planning. If you're comfortable with a standard plotter, a change isn't necessary unless you're looking for a novelty.

This plotter is about as precise as visual flying preparation can be.

It is made of plastic and seems durable enough but the grommet is the key to its reliability so I will be careful with the plotter.

Much more straight forward to use than the straight-edge plotter I got in the starter kit. Easier to use while flying since one doesn't have to be searching for the 'correct' line of long/lat.
Cons
Sounds dumb (probably just me), but it would seem there's a better way to ensure the user has the tool positioned correctly. There's an 'N' stamped on the plotter, but in a rush I've used it not positioned toward the north.
