not very helpful, i guess each pilot has a systematic way of organizing the info they need in the cockpit. this is a generic approach to organization and it wasn't very helpful for me.

Very useful when in the flight environment. I would suggest any pilot going into IMC have something of this sort. It helps keep all the information as organized as possible.

Nice to have a place to write down departure and arrival weather as you retrieve it. Also, nice to have a place to write down com frequencies.
Cons
I guess I was really hoping for a one page pad that allowed me to write basic vfr info for short cross country or local hops from airport to airport. There is no place to write Runway info (direction, field elevation, pattern altitude and pattern direction). I guess what I am wanting is a basic airport information card with a place to write weather. A military flip for the two sides would have been better. I plan to design my own info pad. Everyone is different and wants different things on it. Personalizing seems the best approach.

Pros
Pad of paper with preprinted fields.
Cons
Small lines, lots of details, easy to get lost, and needs both sides. Overpriced for bulk-printed.
General Comments
Overkill for VFR student. Maybe useful for turbo twin IFR pilots.

Pros
Great tool for students. This has been so helpful I'm considering trying the other two Briefing cards that are available. Easy to read and use, and an invaluable memory jogger for those times when you are flying into busy airspace.
Cons
The only two things I don't like about this product is that the horizontal size is just slightly wider than my kneeboard, and there is no place to jot down taxi instructions.
General Comments
Useful and functional, an absolute must for any student's flight bag. The Sporty's Briefing Cards, you can't fly home without it.

Pros
Well organized locations to put necessary data for flight
Cons
In my first flights using them, I found it too easy to just write stuff on my flight plan copy, rather than use the forms. It's just going to require more attention on my part.
General Comments
Good thing to have for someone who has trouble getting organzied for a flight, or often can't find needed info enroute.
