Overall Rating Durability Reliablity Value Usability Expectations	Pros For a person who has never seen a cockpit, not even in a simulator. The material is great. I needed the visual references to better understand the real plane. I should have watched them before my first flight. Cons One of the CD's does not load right up. I had to manually open each folder. The others opened immediately, so I'm not sure what the difference is. General Comments I am glad I will be able to review the weather info over and over until it clicks.

Overall Rating Durability Reliablity Value Usability Expectations	Pros The material and commentators seem to be very up to date and are pleasant to watch. The graphics are good and the real time video from the aircraft makes the learning that much easier. I do recommend this product only with a few additions that I put in my Cons I would like to see the quiz questions more user friendly. I have not figured out a way to see the questions right after the segment on the television or even just whenever I want to go to the questions. I have even had problems getting to the quiz questions on the computer. I also think there should be a more friendly study guide and book, like the Jeppesen Manual, that would go hand-in-hand with the dvd lesson. General Comments

Cons 1) I have not found anything negative about the training DVDs. 2) The log-book is just a few pages & quite thin. So you'd need to purchase a real log-book. General Comments I would recommend this since it covers subjects which my ground school instructor did not even mention. I take detailed notes & went back through them & did not see any mention of some subjects. You must study for the subjects. So just watching these DVDs won't prepare you enough to pass the written test. But it's an excellent resource.

Overall Rating Durability Reliablity Value Usability Expectations	Pros Videos segments are very easy to watch and make a positive difference when you take your lesson. The maneuvers shown replicate training, so when the instructor is demonstrating a manuever, it's not the first time you've seen it. Narrator is very engaging and puts things in simple terms. I especially liked the segments on stalls and slow flight. They made sense and helped me alleviate some of the fear by seeing them in advance of actual flight. Cons Packaging could be a bit more professional. I'd like to see individual cases for the DVDs with a table of contents printed on each so I can take just one DVD with me to Starbucks to watch. General Comments Overall, the best value-to-dollar ratio for initial training. Instruction is down-to-earth and uses real-world scenarios. Quizzes are good reinforcements and the Air Facts segments help me with goal setting as Richard Collins talks about life as a pilot. Highly recommend.

Overall Rating Durability Reliablity Value Usability Expectations	Pros Engaging - keeps my interest. Useful as a reinforcement to instructor lessons in the cockpit. Helpful as reinforcement to a more rigorous plan of study of the Gleim or Jeppeson study materials. Cons Was expecting a more complete coverage of written exam content. I thought it might be good as a replacement of reading for a friend of mine who has trouble reading. Not so. General Comments I was expecting the disks to comprehensively cover all material that would be on the written exam. The quizzes instead cover three to five sample questions per section and the answers were not necessarily provided in the dvd content. You need to have already studied the content in the Gleim Private Pilot exam study guide and the FAA "Private Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge". Use these DVDs as a refresher, not your main study source.
