Course is too fast. It's thorough and I am a pretty quick learner but the DVD's provide too much information too fast.

Watch some of the sample online and really decide whether they may be too fast or not. Remember you'll be watching at the same pace for about an hour on many of the titles.

I wish I had purchased both the VFR and IFR at the same time to get the 1/2 price discount. I was disappointed that even though you could verify that I had purchased the VFR, you could not honor any discount unless they were actually ordered at the same time.

The instrument rating course was not only educational but a complete joy to watch. It was presented in an interesting format with exceptional graphics and narration. Just what I was looking for. Another good Sporty's series which like the PPL series concentrates on learning valid info for flying and not just memorizing/prepping for the written exam.
Good foundation for me to make the decision if I want to get my Instrument rating or not...either way good background and refresher info.
Not having any problems moving about in the various lessons unlike some of the comments from others about that being a problem.

Wrestled with the decision to go online versus DVD's and opted for DVD's so I won't have updates immediately available.
It wasn't clear to me now long I would have access if I purchased only the online content.

I already had the course on VHS since 2001. I bought it as a refresher coures because new features that came along in recent year are integrated in the DVD's.
Also it is easier to use when you want to look at a specific item.
