Cons If the screen saver or anything else interrupted the video, it was difficult to get it to start again in the same place. It required a strange combination of pausing the video, moving the time cursor, and resuming the video (which didn't always work). General Comments Other than the glitchy pause/resume function, this is a really nice and very complete product. I enjoyed it and it really helped me learn to use the E6B.

Overall Rating Durability Reliablity Value Usability Expectations	Pros I love technology so I have a couple electronic E6Bs, but as with using a GPS whereI never want to become rusty with dead-reconing and pilotage, so too I try to stay as familiar as I can with the manual E6B. I bought this program to help me review use of the manual E6B more easily, something that I actually do on my own a couple times a year. I like this product, and it might be something a student could especially benefit from, but I got it as a quick review of the functions that I do infrequently - and it will work well for this. Reasonably priced, it’s $19.95, and the postage was around $7-8 for the CD – but it can be downloaded postage-free and burned to a disk if desired. It gives a useful background narrative in audio to explain practical use of each function, then demonstrates the calculation using visuals; it further gives a second calculation that you can perform on your own before the program demonstrates it again. Cons At first I didn't think it was going to have a selection for True Airspeed, but I found it under the button for density altitude. Now that I know where it is, no problem. It would sure be nice if it could give you a host of problems to work for each of the various functions, and then provide the answers, but it gives only one. That is fine since it is not really a course in use of the E6B, just a tool. General Comments I've already recommended it to a CFI I know and will do so every chance I have. Sporty's, I would love to see a workbook with questions on each function of the E6B that could be used to remain a real whiz with each of the functions of the whiz-wheel.
