Pros
Covers everything about the tailwheel endorsement. Presented clearly and concise. High video quality.
Cons
I would've like more flying tips, but I got the feeling the flying portions were limited so they wouldn't be seen as a substitute for training with an instructor.
General Comments
Valuable as an overview of the tailwheel endorsement, a supplement to training with your instructor, or as a refresher for someone who already has the endorsement.

Pros
Good academics, good cockpit videos, good instructional perspectives
Cons
Slightly overpriced, needed more videos of the cockpit controls, rather than 3 landings with almost the same instructions, I would have preferred the same patterns and landings evaluated and seen from different perspectives.
General Comments
Better than a book or instructional manual, but could be better

Pros
*Very well thought out course
*Very direct and concise
*Thoroughly explained flight dynamics and flight charecteristics through use of an aircraft model, charts and props
*Overall, a very, very good ground and flight course
Cons
Maybe a little more "'B' role" footage of some taildraggers flying around and looking cool would have been nice, but the lack of the b-role didn't make the course any less clear, effective or fun to watch.
General Comments
I wasn't sure what to expect as far as content was concerned. I figured they would go into some of the history of the Cub and other taildraggers, but I was completely wrong.
After a brief demonstration of a Stearman landing correctly, and proper ground handling of the aircraft, the video immediately begins with the first ground school session, where clearly visible charts and aircraft model were used to explain the principles of handling and flight charecteristics of taildraggers. Then the course immediately goes into the cockpit for the practical application of the ground school class with an actual student applying for her taildragger endorsement.
There was very little "'B' role" footage of the planes flying around, looking cool and such. This was 98% "meat & potatos" of taildragger operations. It was well thought out, well explained, and very nice in-cockpit footage as well as the outside view of the actual student's flight performance in the pattern. The instructor's comments during the classroom session and the pattern work were very clear, understandable and thorough.
I have to admit that I am only a "simmer" (Med Disqualed), but I've applied the actual techniques from the course in the sim, and I "fly" much, much better. There are a lot of finer points that are discussed and thoroughly explained throughout this course. I think a serious "simmer" or actual pilot would benefit greatly from watching this video before "Taildragger School", as well aafterwards, as a refresher course.
