Pros
This book is great. It's easy to read, and really helps you to grasp terminology, and required communication. It's scenario based, by type of airspace. I use it as a refresher, and sometimes, when I haven't flown in a while, I read it just to 'feel' like I'm back in the air.

Not very helpful. Written more like a chatty old guy shooting the breeze in the pilot's lounge than a clear, concise guide to proper radio phraseology. Also some parts are out of date. The communications section of the AIM, which you probably already own, is better than this book!
