I just want to add that I have a couple of flight bags I purchased from Sporty's. I damaged one (my fault for sure) and you replaced it for free even though I was willing to pay. That is exceptional service - thank you very much. Sporty's is where I look to first for pilot supplies.

Pros
The training glasses are easy to put on and take off one haded while in flight and fit very well with headsets.
They do well at obstructing the view of of everything outside of the panel.
Very quick and easy to pull off one handed at the MDA to finish the approach and landing.
I do not wear glasses, for me the fit was very comfortable.
Cons
Do not completely white out the vision outside of the panel, there is some light that shows through, not enough to make anything out or to use it for ground reference.
General Comments
Seem to be the same buid as shop or safety glasses so the durability should be good as long as you dont sit on them, get extremely rough with them, or try to run them over, but for the price you shouldnt expect an indestructable set of glasses that could stand up to anything. After all, these are glasses for aviation use in the cockpit, not in the deer woods. If you are like me and take care of your equipment they will be just fine. For the price they are a great set of foggles and honestly I prefer them to some of the more expensive ones I have tried.

Pros
Tried them myself and found they were good visibility inhibitors above the glareshield. Light, comfortable under three different brands of headsets I use (Bose, Lightspeed, Dave Clark).
Cons
Do not work over prescription glasses unless you have the little pinko John Lennon type glasses and they are shoved literally into your eyeballs.
General Comments
A very bad product description for an otherwise very good product. Misleading descriptions tend to make me not want to shop with the biz who wrote the misleading description in the firstplace.
Otherwise, the product performs as a vision-inhibitor should for an instrument student, but doesn't create the "dark zones" that the old flip-down hoods do. The "foggle" part of the glasses allows natural, ambient light but without any distinct view of a horizon or anything else.
They do the job. But they were purchased ONLY because of the claim they fit over prescription glasses.

Fits well without glasses or over glasses. Adjusts well -- up/down, in/out. Don't have to remove the headset or cap to install or remove these.
Cons
Glares going into the sun.
General Comments
Wish they came with a hard case. So far, only 2 of my instrument students have used it and except for the glare in the sun, they said it worked great.

Pros
These glasses have the adjustability to be comfortable, unlike Foggles brand. They don't irritate the upper ear and nose either. They are very comfortable, and they fit under my headset with a pretty good seal compared to other glasses. The little carrying bag also doubles as a cleaning cloth, similar to the type you get with high end sunglasses.
Cons
I have no complaints as of yet.
General Comments
A great alternative to the uncomfortable, unadjustable Foggles brand view limiters.

Not expensive except that the shipping was high. It was the only item I ordered. Comfortable with a nice soft case
Cons
I had only worn my instrucror's "foggles" until I got these. The transition between the clear and the frosted lense in this product is quite abrupt, almost severe. I don't know if that is good or not but the first time I tried them was the first time I experienced some disorientation. Took a few minutes in the bumps and then I was ok.

I had to return this unit as it did not fit over my glasses as advertised, therefore I had no chance to use this product in an actual flight training. Product seems to be well built but the description is misleading.

Pros
Does a good job keeping vision focused on instruments.
The white coating let light in while obscuring vision, so you didn't feel like you were in a tunnel.
Cons
The coating on the top half seems like it could come off easily.
General Comments
If you use prescription glasses, these may not work for you! They fit over my glasses okay, but the unobscured section didn't start until below the bottom of my glasses. I couldn't read a single instrument! Fortunately, my prescription sunglasses didn't have the same problem, so it will vary according to your eyeglass type and size.
Seems like a cheap pair of safety glasses with masking tape on the lenses would have been cheaper and just as effective.
