1. Check the box next to each video you wish to purchase.
2. Click on the button "Add Selected Products to Shopping Cart".
3. At the end of the checkout process, you will receive a link to download the purchased video (if multiple videos were purchased, any of the links will take you to the download page).
4. Next you will be taken to a page to verify and/or update login information. This will allow you to login anytime to www.sportys.com/mydownloads and download purchased videos at a later time.
5. The My Downloads page contains all purchased videos;
select the format you wish to download, either iTunes/Quicktime Video or Windows Media
Video (see the FAQ section to determine which format will work best for you).
PC Users: Click "save as" when the dialog box appears
MAC Users: The program
will automatically download to the default download destination
6. Double click on the downloaded file. View your videos full screen on your computer, or transfer them to a portable video player such as an Apple iPod or Microsoft Zune to view when on the go (see FAQ section for which file type is best for which device).
7. If you do not wish to download all the videos purchased in one session, you can login to www.sportys.com/mydownloads anytime and continue to download your remaining purchased videos.
General What devices can I watch these videos on?
Sporty's videos will play on almost all computers and portable devices — PC (desktop or laptop), Mac, iPod, Microsoft Zune, Creative Zen and more.
How long does a file take to download?
Though file sizes vary based on length, users with a broadband connection should be able to download the videos in less than 30 minutes.
Do I have to have a broadband Internet connection?
A broadband connection (cable, DSL, T1 etc.) is highly recommended, though it is possible to download over a dial-up connection. Downloading via cell phone carrier connection (i.e., AT&T AirCard, Verizon USB Modem, etc.) is also not recommended.
Why do I have to change my username and password?
When you purchase Sporty's Video Downloads, you are prompted to create a username and password during checkout. If you do not create one, one is automatically created for you. We give you the option of changing this to a more easily remembered username and password when you first download your videos. Using this information, you may return to sportys.com/mydownloads and download previously purchased videos at any time.
When do I select which type of file I want to download?
After you complete the purchase process, a page will be made available to download your videos. You will have an option at that point as to which type you wish to download.
Which file type is best for me?
We recommend the iTunes/QuickTime Video Files to everyone because of the better picture quality and organizational features of iTunes, the program used to view the videos. Both file types will play on both a Mac and a PC with the proper viewing software (see the respective file type's frequently asked questions for information about downloading the proper software).
The video I downloaded only plays to a certain point and stops before reaching the end.
The video file did not download completely. This can be caused by a number of factors. First, using wireless internet to download our videos is not recommended. Instead, connect the computer to the modem directly with an Ethernet cable. Then, reset your modem by unplugging the modem's power cord for about 30 seconds and plugging it back in. Finally, try downloading again from sportys.com/mydownloads (only try one download at a time).
